The position:
Hughes Blake, Chartered Accountants & Registered Auditors is recruiting an audit senior for immediate start. The new recruit will join our audit & accounts department. The position involves working as part of a team on a number of audit assignments across a wide range of industry sectors and specialist fields.

What are we looking for:
We are looking for candidates who are looking to build a career in a busy and expanding audit department and have the following minimum requirements:
- Qualified/part qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA
- Experience working in an audit department
- An outstanding work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and commitment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Sage
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate their achievements to date
What will you be doing:
In our expanding audit department you will obtain exposure to a wide range of audit engagements from various industry sectors under both Irish/UK GAAP & IFRS. As part of your work you will be expected to:
- Co-ordinate planning, execution and completion of a number of audits both individually and as part of a team
- Prepare company financial statements under Irish/UK GAAP & IFRS
- Communicate directly with clients in relation to various matters
- Communicate with audit managers and deliver on deadlines
Remuneration:
We are offering a competitive salary to attract the best candidate. Salary will be based on experience and qualification. For those part qualified we will provide student registration and exam fees, study leave and internal exam support.
