The Position:
Hughes Blake, Chartered Accountants is recruiting an audit and accounts senior for immediate start. The new recruit will join the firm’s office in Enniscorthy as a Senior. The position involves working as part of a team of ten on a number of audit and accounts assignments across a wide range of industry sectors and specialist fields. The Candidate will have direct responsibility for supervising assistant team members.

What are we looking for:
We are looking for candidates who are looking to build a career in a busy and expanding audit and accounts office and have the following minimum requirements:
- Qualified/part qualified ACA, ACCA
- Experience working in accounting practice
- An outstanding work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and commitment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Sage Accounts Production an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate their achievements to date
What will you be doing:
In our expanding office you will obtain exposure to a wide range of engagements from various industry sectors. As part of your work you will be expected to:
- Co-ordinate planning, execution and completion of a number of audits and accounts both individually and as part of a team
- Prepare company financial statements under Irish/UK GAAP & IFRS
- Communicate with managers and partners and deliver on deadlines
Remuneration:
We are offering a competitive salary to attract the best candidate. Salary will be based on experience and qualification. For those part qualified we will provide student registration and exam fees, study leave and internal exam support.
