“While our firm may have our origins dating back a century ago, I believe that our tax planning ideas are very much of today”,
Tax Partner Alma O’Brien commenting at the Hughes Blake Annual Tax conference.
It was a 100 years ago when Frederick G Blake started his career as Surveyor of Taxes in Dublin Castle. To celebrate, Hughes Blake held its annual Tax conference on Thursday 21st April in the Shelbourne Hotel where they were joined by 200 valued clients and friends of the firm. The theme of the conference was Ireland 2016 – An Economic Rising? It was clear from the buoyant atmosphere on the night that things are certainly improving and people are looking to tax plan for the future. Speakers on the night were Alma O’Brien, Tax Partner, Donal Bradley, Tax Director and Bernard Swords, Goodbody Stockbrokers.
An additional celebration is being held for our Wexford clients in the Athenaeum, Enniscorthy on Thursday 28th April.
